Daniel's 12th birthday, as is custom with all his birthdays, was spent over several days. It all began on July 3, 2002 when we left for Kings Dominion Amusement Park in Virginia. We took Cindy and Shannon. Follow along for Daniel's 12th odyssey.

Patrick Henry, the first Governor of free Virginia, lived from 1771-1778 in Scotchtown near Doswell, the location of Kings Dominion. We toured his home, his kitchen and his "refrigerator," which kept perishable foods at 42 degrees year round 29 feet under ground.
